The Future Leaders Institute offers four-day management development training programs that provide emerging leaders with the skills necessary to lead their workforce. The Institute includes workshops on Leadership Fundamentals and on Leadership Transitions.

Enrollment in the Future Leaders Institute is open to managers at all levels, and individuals seeking to become managers in the public and non-profit sectors. Some employers will pay the enrollment fee; individual enrollments are also welcome.

In addition to the Future Leaders Institute, the University of Massachusetts Donahue Institute offers an array of off-the-shelf and custom training solutions to meet the unique needs of your organization. The UMass Donahue Institute is one of only a few vendors recently chosen to be a pre-approved training vendor for the state of Massachusetts (PRF 29).

The UMass Donahue Institute is the public service, outreach, and economic development unit of the University of Massachusetts President's Office. The UMass Donahue Institute’s Organizational Development and Training Group provides services to assist public, private, and non-profit organizations in achieving optimal operating performance.
