The Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR), in partnership with the UMass Donahue Institute is offering the 3rd annual Park Fellows Program: a summer of work and learning beginning June 2, 2008.

We are seeking a select group of 10 qualified and motivated college students eager to explore their interest in park management and operations. The Park Fellows Program consists of:  

  • A twelve week program with rotations completed at different sites with a variety of work experiences
  • A DCR mentor assigned to each Fellow
  • An orientation and mid-term gathering of all Fellows for shared learning and project planning
  • Park Fellow special projects, developed by each Fellow
  • Hourly wage paid for work in the park system
